With the season of Spring having recently sprung, and with Summer soon to be upon us, more of our leisure time, both at home and on vacation, are destined to be spent out-of-doors. Indeed, there is no reason why we should not be able to take our favorite music with us to the patio or sundeck, even if we are not amongst the legions with iPods permanently attached to our bodies. Instead, the perfect solution is to be found in a set of outdoor speakers.

Since outdoor speakers are an entirely different beast than those which we might use in our living rooms, the first thing that you can do is to throw away everything you know about typical speaker technology, and don’t even consider using your living room set 15 feet away through the sliding doors. In short, your high-end living room set won’t even survive a single season if exposed to any degree of moisture or relentless sunlight.

For this very reason, eminent speaker manufacturer Phase Technology (PhaseTech for short) designs the enclosure for its new “Solaris SPF-35” series to be near-bulletproof.
